Planning and Early Stages

Making the decision to build a Quality Management System and have it accredited to an international standard can seem monumental, and it can be hard to know where to start. We can help you to create a timeline and action plan that works for your business needs, as well as helping you to identify the most appropriate accreditation body for your circumstances. We can also help you to decide what should and should not be in scope for audit.
Initial Certification
Initial Certification comes in stages. First, your Environmental Management System and supporting paperwork is checked to ensure that all the standards are covered. Second, you'll have an on-site audit from the Awarding Body where they'll verify your systems and processes for themselves.
We can provide a wide range of services to help you obtain certification. We can lead the entire process, document your policies and procedures for you, handle the awarding body and lead all your audits. On the other end of the scale we can simply provide a sounding board and sense check for your internal team. Or anywhere in between! Talk to us about what you need, and we'll put a proposal in place.
Ongoing Audit and Support
If you're already certificated, or once you've completed your initial certification, you'll need to plan a cycle of compulsory audits and Management Review procedures. We can schedule and complete all your internal audits for you, providing compliant audit reports and maintaining your CAPA log, and we can be on site for your annual Surveillance Audit.
Alternatively we can audit your internal audit team to ensure that the system is working the way it should. We can also stage a "dry run" for your team prior to an annual visit, helping them to identify any weaknesses before the external auditor arrives. If we find any non-conformance, minor or major, we'll help you to fix it in time for your annual Surveillance Audit.
